JGEC has been a family to anyone and everyone who has stepped into it. Regardless of friendships and fall outs we still strive to be One family. And like a true family we have always been beside each other, holding hands together since inception. At this hour we are again on a critical juncture. Mrs Mridula Basu Chowdhury, mother of Ms Debjani Basu Chowdhury, 2014 ECE batch, is fighting cancer which is in its 3rd stage of effect. Although Debjani works for Ericsson, she is the sole bread earner for her family (mother and daughter) with loans plaguing the family. Initials contributions have helped the patient to be relocated to Mumbai Tata Medical Center for diagnosis, yet the future is unknown. We would sincerely request small contributions but several in numbers which will serve the purpose of being beside the family in this time of dire crisis.
