Sampath is a hardworking honest man who has fought all odds to provide for his family. He fell in love with a widow and her two kids and married her against his family’s wishes. He has been a great father and a loving husband - taking all pains to ensure his kids go to a good school. He started out working in a a stone quarry and then at a tar factory. Eventually, he bought a car on a loan to drive for Ola. Now, when in need, he has no one to help him pay his medical bills - his family refuses to support him unless he leaves his wife.
Sampath is in immense pain due to a spinal angioma and onset of TB, and is slowly losing control over the lower half of his body. Meanwhile his children are at risk of losing out on a good education.
