My maternal aunt(mother's sister) Mrs. Sukanya K L, suffered a ruptured ACOM aneurysm and subarchnoid hemorrhage. In layman words, it is rupturing of wall of a main artery in brain, leading to internal bleeding. This is one of the most critical and challenging conditions for Neurosurgeons to handle due to many life threatening complications.
She is fighting for her life on ventilator in a semi-coma state. She has been a fighter all through her life, battling the ups and downs alone due to untimely death of her husband 8 years ago when her only son was just 6 years old. He has just completed 10th std this year. They have a very meager income.
She is supposed to undergo a surgery today(3rd Aug 2018) which would cost upto 6 lakhs. Another surgery has already been attempted last night(2nd Aug 2018) which unfortunately did not succeed!
The whole treatment is expected to cost upto 20 lakhs or more if situation worsens. This includes surgery costs and post surgery care.
We, the family, are going to all possible extents to meet the medical expenses and are trying to pool in money. We are fighting all odds to bring back the Mother to this teenager.
The fund raised through Milaap will be used towards the surgeries and post maintenance costs.
Any kind of help, small or big, would be very grateful. It is a humble request to all to support us in this battle!
