Hi. My name is rumman siddiqi and this is for my friend's mother. She has been diagnosed with ILD, which involves irreversible scarring of the lung tissue and eventual failure of the patient's respiratory mechanism. She is 53 years of age and has had this condition since 1999. However for the past two years her condition has degraded, to which the doctors have suggested a double lung transplant, a month ago. They have exausted their savings over the years on her treatment and medication and started a fund raiser to help go through the surgery which will take place in Apollo, Chennai.
