My 2 1/2 year's old son Atharv srivastav had been diagnosed with Thalassemia major and by God's  grace we got an unrelated donor with  full match of HLA TYPING. Doctor of P. D. Hinduja Hospital Mumbai suggested to go for BMT  treatment of my son at earliest.In absence of BMT (Bone marrow transplant) he needs a monthly blood transfusion which is very painful for such 2 1/2 Year's Old Child and contains high risk of life due to iron deposit in body and may cause of damage of organs like heart, liver or kidney.I had tried all my possible personal ways to arrange the money required for his bone marrow transplant treatment but the amount is beyond my reach, since the Hospital has given total estimated cost of this BMT treatment is 40 Lakhs including DATRI Registery (provids stem cells from donor for BMT), fee of 8 Lakhs.
I have enclosed his medical report and the estimated amount stated by the hospital with his letter please study it and give your valuable contribution as soon as possible.
