How I am associated with living Free:
I, Priya Desikan, am the founder of Living Free, and co-created this space and community with my husband K. Srinath and my 13 year old son Raghav. We are a small family, living without school (i.e. homeschooling), in Chennai.

Story
Living Free is a small community (not a registered NGO, but just an individual effort and dream) of about 25 street cats and two street dogs that we nurture and sustain with support from friends and family.
We have been caring for their medical and daily food needs with generous support from well-wishers and friends, besides our own resources.
Our dream, as a homeschooling family of three, who love cats and animals like our own family, is to create a space for them in this urban jungle, to live in freedom.
We want to intervene minimally in their lives and allow them to live here in this neighborhood, where they belong, wild and free.
The one thing we want to do towards this, is to maintain a stable population, and so wish to get them neutered and spayed.
This crowdfunding effort is to help us get funds to achieve that. the money that you donate will go towards getting them all neutered and spayed and stop them from breeding further and suffering the consequences of that.
