Earlier, none of the villagers near by her area had good house to live. All the houses were made of bamboos which last only few years. Now, a portion of villagers have long lasting houses made of bricks, cement, tin etc. So, her step into business not only helped her making money, it also improved quality of life in near-by-villages.Now, the problem she has been facing is delivery of such raw materials to such remote areas. She always has to depend on a tractor whose owner is far away from her. She has to pay a high rate for each delivery too. So, she finally decide to own a tractor for delivery of such construction raw materials in shorter time with minimal rate. But, the main blocker for now is the capital.
This is our kind request to all who care for rural development in terms of living standard, to help Lakhimai to reach her goal to own a tractor.
Since her step is adding a new dimension to the life of such rural area so, as a human being I am pretty much pleased. I am salaried employee based on Bangalore with family. My wife and I start stepping into social-work in our free time so that we can help people like Lakhimai.
The minimum cost to own a tractor is approx 6,90,000/-. Currently she needs 5,00,000 and remaining she will arrange herself.
