On 30th March, 2017 as Kishore Kondakindhi got down from an auto rickshaw to enter his office building in Gurgaon, another auto rickshaw coming from the wrong direction, hit him head on and Kishore collapsed.
Thankfully, the office watchman promptly rushed Kishore to the nearby Paras Hospital in Sushant Lok, Phase 1. An FIR was filed against the auto driver for reckless driving.
Dr. Amit Shrivastava from the Neurosurgery Dept. Paras Hospital has kept Kishore on ventilator in neuro ICU since then. Kishore had been hit on the left side of his brain. He has undergone one surgery to remove a clot from his brain.
Kishore got married a year before, his wife and his mother from Hyderabad are at his bed side, and desperately seeking help! Kishore’s father is no more. The family does not have money and contacts in this hospital to get him the best attention from the hospital authorities.
Kishore is a dearly loved member of the BI & Analytics team and his absence is badly felt at office, affecting the morale of his entire team. Kishore was ever so helpful and worked relentlessly long hours to manage the most complex Data Stage administration activities and migration to the new data center at Washington.
We need to do everything we can to support Kishore fighting for his life!
The medical costs are in order of 25-30 lacs. There is no personal or corporate insurance to cover the current on-going hospital expenses for Kishore’s treatment.
