Who would have thought an evening out with his mother and sister would turn into a life-threatening tragedy for young Azmath!

The 12-year old boy and his family met with an accident near Vinayaka Theatre, Varthur when a drunk driver decided to sit behind the wheel and drive. After accident, all three of them were rushed to the nearby Columbia Asia hospital where doctors after initial checkup declared Azmath, a class 6th student of K.K. English School, and his mother extremely critical. The sister had suffered multiple fractures while Azmath and his mother lay unconscious struggling to take even a single breath. Although the mother has shown some signs of recovery, the young boy has slipped into coma!
Dr. Vedanth of Columbia Asia who is currently treating Azmath has diagnosed brain hemorrhage, spleen rupture, left kidney failure, and collapse of lungs. Every single minute that he remains unconscious and in coma is an opportunity gained and an opportunity lost! Azmath is currently in ICU and will be kept there for longer period of time till the doctors deem fit.

Azmath’s father Khader who supplies drinking water cans in Candeur Rise, Varthur cannot afford the humongous medical expenses of his son and his wife. Although he is trying all that he can to arrange for the finances, time is of essence! Azmath is hooked on to the hospital tubes and still fighting for his life. He needs help and he needs it NOW.
