Baby Kalainila was active and full of energy.  5 days back, she suddenly got a high fever, it was 104 degrees and she was admitted to the hospital. It did not subside even after 2 days. She became extremely weak and her heart rate went up to 270 (115 is normal for children), it was then her pulse dropped down and she was revived with CPR. Further tests revealed  her heart, kidneys and lungs are affected due to severe infections. She is still on ventilator support and needs prolonged treatment to recover completely.
