Alternative Development has been providing children with education and meals since 1995. The school we constructed in Jyoti nagar-slum in Jaipur provides access to education to children that do otherwise not have the opportunity to go to school.

To keep the children in school, we need your help! As the monsoon season started, the roof of the school is leaking which makes it not possible to use the classroom during rain. When the roof gets wet, the electric appliances connected to the roof cause an electric current. Children touching the roof risk the chances of getting an electric shock.

We will need 50,000 rupees to construct a new roof made of tin, so we can keep the school open during the rainy season and make sure the environment is safe! Can we count on your help?
