I'm Bitan Sana, a 2nd year B.Tech student of Makaut, Saltlake, kolkata.
It was 2016, when I felt that I have to do my social duties and responsibilities. Then I started to fulfil my duties by giving the poor foods and clothes. In 2018, i joined an NGO named Barasat Suchona to make my dreams be realistic. Last week, our NGO team went to 'Santoshpur' for a servey in an Indigenous area.I, Bitan Sana, took the responsibility to collect the fund for our target.
This fundraise for the Indigenous people who live in a village named 'Santoshpur' near Barasat, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
Actually they are undeveloped and their literacy is so poor. They are backdated, even they don't have phones to communicate. Their financial condition is also very poor. lack of money, they have to say goodbye to school. They are unhygienic too. Many of them are suffering from various diseases. So after talking to them, we came to know, they need an educational as well as health support.
Our target is to help them by giving proper educational support and by organising some health camps.
We want a fund about 15000₹ for all we've targeted.
We need this fund within 3 weeks if possible.
Our target is, we'll spend that money on about 50-60 school going students of that area by giving them text books, exercise books, required pen, pencils and other required studying materials.
And the population is about 350-400, so we'll held some health camps like eye check up, body check ups etc.
