Myself Mr. Rajesh Kamath, residing with my wife & son at Ponda-Goa, working in a private firm (Fish net company) with monthly salary around Rs.20,000/-. As per doctor, by Birth itself i have a Hole in Heart, But we come to know after 30 years. Due to heavy tiredness, I consult many doctors & lastly when we visited Dr.Deviprasad Shetty, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore, He has advised me (& he has given me Hope of life) that operation stage has crossed & have to continue medication. From past 13 years, with yearly consultation with hospital, am taking their said prescription medicines.
3 months ago, i felt tiredness is getting high, & i am facing difficult to walk for 20 steps, I consult the Dr. Devi Shetty, He has advised me to Contact Dr.Basha Khan for transplantation of Heart & Lung. Dr. Basha J Khan, Senior Consultant Pulmonary of Narayana Institute Cardiac Sciences, Bangalore, Stating the transplant surgery cost of around Rs. 20,00,000 (Rupees Twenty Lakhs only) with post transplant medication, Monthly cost Rs. 15,000 – Rs.20,000/-
A sudden unexpected Advice for transplant surgery brought me a shock and mental tension, which put me completely in dark as neither myself nor my father/brothers do not have sufficient source to meet such a huge expenditure stated by the Hospital. However putting entire trust on God, my too younger brothers have taken initiative for proceeding with the surgery with an idea of approaching Friends & Relatives within our family and also, Donors / Charity organisation within our GSB, for meeting this huge expenditure of surgery to save the life. Now I am in Bangalore with my brother for pre-surgery treatment and also to make myself available to the hospital at their shortest notice / call for surgery as per their direction.
My father, P Shivaraya Kamath, was working as clerk at Canara Bank, presently Aged 77 years, and drawing a pension of around Rs.15,000/- per month. We are 3 sons, I being the eldest & My two younger brothers, who are B.Com / B.A graduates, are also working in a private firms, one at Bangalore & other at Mangalore. Both married with a kid each, and are living with their families at their work place. They too have limited source of income for their livelihood.
This is the facts and reality, am placing before you with all humility seeking your whole hearted support for granting maximum financial help to meet the Expenditure for surgery. You may cross verify on the matter from sources available to you Or from Hospital Authorities if necessary.
