Hello Friends, one of my schoolmate(Mr Basant Barik) who is from my locality(Balasore, Odisha) succumb to death on 24th of Feb in a road accident. He is survived by his wife and one daughter(1.5 year old).
As he was not from an established family, my deepest apprehension is about the future of the baby girl. I am not talking about too long future of the girl, but her absolute survival in the society in a time where everything relates to money: vaccination, medicine, food, clothes, basic education up to some level.. Nothing is free neither she is getting anything free by right.

All in my mind now is, how can I/we at this point of time, can rescue this innocent baby girl from the clutches of systematic social infliction that she is going to experience, through some sustainable source of income for her survival. In my submission, if a decent amount of money can be deposited in Post Office or bank in the name of the baby girl(like Sukanya Samriddhi account, or Monthly Income Scheme), it might protect her to some extent.

So friends, all I request those who trust me and can be a savior of the little baby, to contribute some amount (rupees 100, 200, ..1000, 2000 or whatever possible) towards the future of the baby girl which has become completely insecure from the yesterday dreaded event.

I don’t have any info about existing bank account detail or sukanya samriddhi account of the baby or family. In case you want to part of this noble cause of fund raising for the baby, please deposit whatever you want to donate to my personal saving account. I am going to my native on 28 Feb for about a week. That time I will meet and handover the money and will make sure it would be deposited in bank in the name of the baby in some good scheme that will be helpful to her.

A small amount from your pocket towards the donation will not create any difference in you personal finance, but for the baby girl the difference she will experience will be huge..too significant.
