Born into extreme poverty and ubiquitous presence of alcoholism, for all practical purposes girls from rural rajasthan enter adulthood soon after age 10. A large number are thrown to human trafficking while the others begin training for domestic work including hard physical labour. While boys enjoy the perks of youth like education and sports. After having their childhoods abruptly taken away girls are usually married off to an older man at the age of 15. At ISHT we are breaking this cycle by facilitating a school to combat childhood marriage and human trafficking. This a basic childhood that every kid deserves.
Goal:
we want to build a school to provide equal education to girls of class 1st to 8th to combat childhood marriage and human trafficking. We want to provide free education, school uniforms, books and other stationery.
Time limit:
we have a plan to start from July 2017. Like all schools 6 hours classes will be provided.

ISHT- Ideal Society for Heritage & Tourism, Jaipur is a registered organization under Rajasthan Society Act 1956 bearing registration no. 525/Jaipur/2004-05, dated 9th November,2004. It’s a 12A, 80G registered and FCRA registration is awaited. ISHT was promoted and developed by collective efforts of the members of the society, who have rich experience in the field of Entrepreneurship, Social welfare, Environment, Medical & health and Tourism.

The society initially was working in heritage and tourism. After few years it inclined to work for socio economic development for underprivileged and marginalized women, children, disabled person and old age people of all sections of society by providing the linkage between various govt. schemes and the beneficiaries.

The main concentration of the development was mostly in the rural areas of the state to create awareness on various issues which are necessary for the socio- economic development.

ISHT- Ideal Society for Heritage & Tourism is dedicated to socio-economic transformation of rural and remote areas of the state and country. To develop a healthy atmosphere for the welfare, development and empowerment of women in our society has been one of the primary objectives of the society since its inception. To make efforts for children, women, old age persons, underprivileged, marginalized, vulnerable and disadvantages etc. are treated equal, where all people have access to the opportunities, information, technologies, education, medical and health and the programmes that are available within India for rehabilitation or participation in the development.

ISHT has vision about the society where all people have access for education, education, medical & health, nutrition, employment and legal literacy facilities and where everybody has the equal right to a sustainable livelihood.
