Help 14 year-old Dhruv fight Blood Cancer!

From being a playful child and an outstanding cricketer to not even being able to run or walk properly, 14-year-old Dhruv and his family's life has turned upside down within just two month’s time. Dhruv is suffering from a very dangerous form of Blood Cancer that is also spreading very quickly. With the very limited means his parents are finding it very hard to save their son's life.

Dhruv is currently undergoing chemotherapy at a hospital in Hyderabad and the cost of his treatment is 20 lakh INR (£23,000). Balram, Dhruv's father appeals to everyone reading this to help him save his dying son.

"Our world came crashing down when Dhruv fell unconscious while in school two months ago and on getting tested, was diagnosed with blood cancer. My son who means the world to his young sisters and dreams of  being a cricketer one day sits pale, unable to walk and in pain all day long. Only chemotherapy for the next 2.5 years can help improve Dhruv's worsening condition. My wife and I are devastated seeing his condition and need your help and prayers to save our son." - Balram, Dhruv's father

How can you help?
Balram has used up all of his life's savings for 5 chemo sittings that Dhruv has already undergone but needs a lot more which being the only earning member, he will not be able to afford.  You can help by making a contribution no matter how big or small for Dhruv's ongoing treatment

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your love. As Dhruv is no more with us, we're planning on withdrawing the remaining money and handing it over to the child's family so they can use it for the education of Dhruv's sister.

Should there be any objections towards the same, please feel free to reach out to us.

Regards,
Yachika

With deep sorrow I'm having to inform all the donors that Dhruv lost his battle with cancer early this morning. His family is beyond devastated as this was somewhat sudden and unexpected. Dhruv was being treated at an Ayurvedic clinic in Kerela these past few weeks and was brought back to Hyderabad a week or so ago. He was seemingly doing better and things looked somewhat positive until this morning when this happened. I had never personally met this boy but was looking forward to seeing him and spending time with him in a few weeks once I' m back in India. My heart breaks to even imagine what his parents and little sister must be going through.

At this point I'm just going to withdraw balance of the funds and hand over to the family so they can use it towards the education of their now only daughter.

Rest in peace little Dhruv!

First of all a very big thank you to everyone that has made a contribution towards Dhruv's treatment.
To update you all - things are not great with Dhruv at the moment as his body has not responded well to the first few sessions of chemo. Doctors at Care Hospital have referred his case to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad. Dhruv needs another month of chemo asap and we're trying our best to get the treatment started at NIMS where Dhruv has currently been put on waitlist. It's extremely critical he gets this chemo asap and also that his body responds well to it - I request to all to please keep Dhruv and his family in your prayers and at the same time though I know a lot of you are already doing this but please keep spreading the word and have your friends and family make a contribution so we can together help this little boy get a chance to love and live.
