I am from Chandigarh, working and staying in Pune. Being native of Haryana, have heard number of cases of Honour Killing (HK), where the youth following their own wishes in matters of love / marriage are murdered without being given any chance to be heard. Its the village elders, who are deadly against the youth freedom. Adults are also only following elders footsteps.Last week, Just browsing through fb, i saw this article on it. But unlike any other case, here the saviour is a 78 year old man.
He went against society, against his own 3 sons just to provide justice to his Granddaughter.
Left alone, segregated from society - its time we should provide the required moral and financial support to not let him regret his respected decision.

Sonepat, Haryana, July 2006 - "Honour killing" - His 17 year old GrandDaughter was beaten to death and burnt by his sons and he filed a FIR against his sons the same night.
All accused are serving Life Imprisonment.
And he is taking care of his 3 GC with Rs. 1800/ pm pension.
With poverty and no one to take care of, his decision is turning into regret.
Let's help him and let him live with no regrets and head held high.
This would also help restoring faith in good deeds.
Funds would also help in studies for his grandchildren.
