Cyclone Fani has caused tremendous devastation in Odisha (eastern state of India) impacting over 10 million people including 1 million in shelters. Cyclone Fani, which has been classified as an extremely severe cyclone (ESC), is the 10th such cyclone had hit India in May in past 52 years.

The cyclone has seriously disrupted communications, leveled thousands of homes, destroyed paddy crops and swept away livestock. We are preparing ourselves to support, rescue and help at least 10000 families of Puri, Jagatsingpur, Ganjam & Khurda districts of Odisha State.

In such situation it is difficult to calculate the budget requirement to help cyclone affect area. The basic urgent need will be Medicine, Dry food, lighting articles, materials for temporary shelter, baby food, clothes, etc.
