HELP A PARAPLEGIC MOTHER OF TWINS AND WIFE OF A SOLDIER WITH A WHEELCHAIR TO GAIN MOBILITY

Mrs Shraddhanjali Shukla met with an life threatening accident in Aug 2015. Though the doctors managed to save her life, she was severely injured and totally paralyzed from the neck down. This pillar of strength for the family became bed ridden, in need of constant care and support. As diagnosed by Medical Specialists, she has a traumatic fracture DV6 with paraplegia, a condition resulting in 100% disability for life.

This  family stood strong and tided over a lot of hardships with school going children and demands of 24/7 soldiering job. Mrs Shukla is still under treatment and the doctors have advised her to use a Standing Wheelchair which will allow her to move, sit, stand and recline safely in the absence of any caretaker, and assist in day to day life. The lowest cost of a decent standing chair is approximately INR 250,000 which includes cost of customization and transportation.

Hav Shukla is a soldier with the Indian Army, and this is a huge financial burden for the family. Please help this brave mother and soldiers' wife.
