Help children of Bhabanipur, Purulia to achieve their dreams

My name is Partha Das and I am a social entrepreneur. I am passionate about helping children from rural communities to succeed in life. My quest for helping them brought me to Bhabanipur village in Balrampur police station (https://goo.gl/IAc2JS) in Purulia district. The children of this village live in abject poverty and don't have access to the resources needed to build successful careers. Along with a few friends, I started a social organization called "Sealdah Bidya Bhavan". Our goal is to provide resources that are usually only available in cities and urban areas to help the kids of Bhawanipur achieve their dreams. So far we have built a small facility with a classroom and provide school stationery supplies, photocopy machine and a computer for students to be used free of charge. In order to keep the center self sufficient we have provided a paper plate making machine that can be used by local elders to raise funds and sustain the center. Our future plan is to add a computer room and provide 5-6 computers for these students. We are looking to raise funds for the additional room construction and to buy computers and furniture. We estimate the costs to be in the range of 3 Lakhs INR. Our hope is to raise these funds through your generous donations. Your donations are eligible for tax exemption under section 80G.
