Deepak Shinde, a young father of two, is an employee of Samarthanam Trust. Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled is a registered Trust working for the empowerment of persons with disabilities especially persons with visual and physical impairments and underprivileged people since 1997

Rachita, Deepak's 3 year old daughter has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.  She is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Shankara Cancer Hospital, Basavanagudi.
 
Cancer requires comprehensive care and expensive medical treatments, more so if you are a child.
 
At Samarthanam, we are helping by donating blood and contributing all that we can.
