    This fundraiser will benefit

    baby of neetu

    from Jaipur, Rajasthan

Neetu doesn’t sleep well at night these days. She often wakes in the middle of her sleep and checks on her 8-month-old baby boy just to see if he is alive.

“Sometimes, I can’t keep awake for hours, fearing the worst for my son. He has the same disease that took away my son 5 years back. I can see the same symptoms in my baby also. I am afraid that he will not make it as well,” - Neetu breaks down while saying this.

Without surgery, Neetu’s baby will never be able to walk

Neetu’s baby boy was born with congenital knee dislocation - a birth defect that leads to a deformity in his knees. The baby won’t be able to walk without surgery. But that’s something these poor parents can’t even think of affording.

“He cries all round the day, I can’t leave his side. He is too small to tell me what he is going through - that makes it all the more difficult. I want to take away all his pain but I am so helpless.”

A poor farmer by profession, Amrish is clueless as to how he can save his son

When Neetu and her husband, Amrish noticed the deformity in their baby, they immediately took him to the local doctors. But the doctors in their village in Uttar Pradesh gave up. They said the only hope for this child is to take him to a better hospital.

“We didn’t waste any time. My husband stayed back to take care of our daughter and my mother-in-law came with me to Jaipur. My baby is in so much pain, he needs the surgery at the earliest and there is nothing I can do about it.”

The surgery would cost them about 3 lakhs. But Neetu and Amrish have no means by which they can afford this surgery. In fact, these helpless parents don't have the money to buy regular medicines for their son. They need your help - they don’t have a lot of time.

A generous contribution from your side will help them save their baby’s life.
