My name is Anamika and I need your help to save my premature born baby.
I delivered my baby girl, weighing just 580 grams, in the 26th week of my pregnancy. The baby was detected with Down Syndrome and VSD in the second trimester and her blood flow was too low. Being a kidney patient myself, the doctor had no choice but to take her out ASAP i.e. 22nd December, 2018. The baby is in NICU of Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. Initially, she was on a life support ventilator for a month. The baby needs to stay in the hospital for another two months as she needs intensive care and support. The doctor has prescribed me not to try conceiving ever in future due to my kidney disease so this is also the last hope for me to be a mother.
We do have a medical plan (TPA) but that only covers the delivery cost. The hospital has estimated the extra cost of 21 lacs. Being a service coordinator myself and my husband a retail employee, we do not have plan and funds for such an unexpected emergency. We applied for a personal loan, but we could only get 5 lacs and rest giving our saving but still falling short of 10 lacs.
