    Baby Goda Devi

    from Bangalore, Karnataka

We named our daughter after our family Goddess Goda Devi. After 4 years of marriage and prayers, our Goddess blessed us with a precious baby girl. She is an adorable and well-mannered kid who is loved and pampered by everyone around us.  Today, it kills us to know that our only daughter’s life is in a critical condition.” – Chandrashekar, father

Life is very unpredictable. How a small mosquito can endanger a human life within a short span is astonishing. Goda Devi (3) was admitted with a severe case of dengue about 2 weeks ago. Later, during treatment, she developed kidney and liver infections. Her vital organs are now slowly shutting down.

“Every breath my daughter takes is painful. And, it is worse to watch her suffer and feel so helpless. If only I could take her pain, I would do it happily. She is begging me to give her water as her mouth has gone dry. I cannot even give her water as it is not advisable by the doctor. They said it will worsen the condition of her kidneys,” – Latha, mother

Little Goda Devi is just 3 years old and is going through hell. She has been on mechanical ventilator support for over 2 weeks and would continue to be for another 3 weeks. Her little face is now full of tape wounds and scars.

I work as a KSRTC bus driver and hardly earn enough money for basic living. The doctors have said we need 15 lakhs for my daughter's treatment. I have already taken loans to start off the treatment and I cannot afford more. Please help me save my daughter," – Chandrashekar breaks down into tears thinking of the worst possibility.

They are now counting on your help to save Goda Devi's life.

Chandrashekar is financially weak to support his daughter’s medical treatment. However, without immediate treatment, Goda Devi‘s life is in danger. Your timely contribution and support would mean everything for Chandrashekar and his wife Latha.
