Baby Name: Chaitanya Chowdary-surgery to be done within 10 days.
Baby born on 9th September-2017,when baby born he was 1.9 kgs in 15 days he started coughing ...so we took baby to children's doctor in Chittoor...they gave some cough syrup but no improvement and he was falling more sick.
People arround suggested us to take the baby to Rainbow hospital in Bangalore and we took the baby for initial chechup. They suggested us to admit the baby,so we admitted baby on 26th September,2017( Patient ID: UH-ID: 00041065). Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy Balla started treating him & diagnosed there is a problem in "Heart and Liver" and suggested initially for "KASAIS SURGERY".As we couldnt offord the cost he suggested us to take the baby to CMC at Vellore.
We took the baby to CMC,there Dr.Tarun John Kochukaleekal Jacob also diagnosed that heart ( 2 heart veins are blocked and need to operate) and majorly liver is having problem and suggested to do surgery for Liver first which will cost around 1.5 Lakhs.
Some how we arranged fund through the known sources and admitted baby for surgery on 26th Oct 2017- when baby was 45 days old, he had undergone huge pain and got discharged on 2nd November,2017. But there is no improvement in his health condition.
We took baby for review after surgery-doctor said "BILE DUCT" was not forming & it's completely a "Liver Failure" & we need to do liver transplantation and we have no other option left with which costs approximately 15 -20 Lakhs only for transplantation(i.e OT Charges) & donor can be parents for donor surgery around 3 lakhs and need to stay in observation for a month time .The complete cost for the surgery is approximately 30 lakhs.As we are farmers at barren land... not able to poolin such huge money,also not able to see him counting his days.As we have only duration of maximum 10 days to do surgery based on baby's current health status. please join your hands to help the baby to live long.
