My Father who himself is a doctor and had saved life of many people throughout his life is now fighting for his own life.
He got diagnosed for Colovesical Fistula and was operated at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon on 24-Oct-2017. Second surgery for closure of stoma was performed on 18-Dec-2017.
Post the second surgery my father developed Pneumonia and was put on ventilator support.
On 3-Jan-2018 we shifted him from Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon to Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi for further treatment. He was admitted there till 4-Feb-2018.
In March follow up tests, it came out that the earlier surgery done in Medanta, for Colovesical Fistula was not a success and he was required to undergo the same surgery again in Sir Gangaram Hospital.
He got operated for Colovesical Fistula again on 4-April 2018 and discharged on 30-Apr-2018.
Unfortunately, post discharge he developed Urinary Tract Infection which is resistant to antibiotic and for the same reason between May & June, he was hospitalized 4 times in Sir Gangaram Hospital.
On 16-July 2018 while he was again on Ventilator at Sir Gangaram hospital, he got a cardiac arrest followed by kidney shut down. No urine output was there, and he was on continuous dialysis.
Current Status: My father is still in ICU but showing signs of recovery and the doctors are very hopeful that he can survive as the kidneys are now responding the treatment.
As per the doctors we need to continue his treatment as his situation is improving now. However, this will take 2 to 3 more weeks of intense care and treatment which is costing us 90000 per day.
Since September 2017 till date it has been more than 180 days of hospitalization and we have put all our life savings for his treatment.
I need your help and support in saving my father’s life as he is my only HERO.
Please Help Me… as I don’t want him to lose the battle for life now when he is showing the signs of recovery…..
