Athma Shakti Vidyalaya Society is a 40-year old therapeutic community which has been an alternative treatment to mental illness and mental health issues. It's located in South part of Bangalore. As we're an NGO it has been difficult to sustain the high standards of therapy and providing community life to people with severe mental illnesses and we're seeking funds to help us continue our journey in making lives of people with mental illness better. There are many emergency situations we deal with that set us back on our goal of providing therapy like repairs, updating psychometric instruments, refurnishing the building to provide a comfortable environment for people with mental illness. We are raising funds to help us with these situations.
