I am Swapnil Jain writing to request financial assistance for my mother Asha Jain, Age 60 years.

Mrs Asha Jain had some history of high BP for that she was regular with medicines & checkup but unfortunately and unexpectedly, On 22 March 2017, she felt down with unconsciousness and bloodstained vomiting. She got hospitalized in Trivani hospital first and then referred to CHL Hospital, Indore. As soon as diagnosis started, and neurologists got involved, they found she had a major stroke of Pontine Brain hemorrhage, following with multiple blood clots and damaged brain cells finally ended up with COMA for 4 days. She came back from Coma and survived for life but only with 10% consciousness. Also, Brain cells damage caused her more complications like Epilepsy (Mirgi), Cornea Ulcer and Paralysis of right side.

It has been more than a year since she is merely unconscious, dealing with regular attacks of Epilepsy and Paralyzed, living with Nasogastric Tube to give liquid feeds, Urine Catheter and support of Tracheostomy tube due to weak lungs and poor breathing mechanism.

My father Rigal Jain had a small business which went in loss due to recent demonetization. I had to quit Job to take care of my Mother because along with a permanent nurse and regular physiotherapist a lot daily nursing care required including 6 times feeding and medications. She continuously needs nebulizers to clear cough in every hour including night

My family is completely broken now financially, I left Job, My father who is already in late 60s continuing for business to make some financial support which is not even sufficient 1/4 of monthly expense of medicines and nursing care.

And now we cannot bear it financially anymore, we are pending hospital bills in Lacs, already taken lots of loan almost 20+ Lacs form individuals.

Per Neurologists, she can come back to normal life in some span of time like 2 to 3 years or so if they continue to do this good nursing care. She got around 20% improvement in one year, Doctors will be able to remove Tracheostomy tube in next few months by operation, so speedy recovery is expected.

I have attached a copy of my Medical Bills and Prescription of my doctor.

Kind Regards.
