    This fundraiser will benefit

    Anil Ameta

    from Udaipur, Rajasthan

These are two pictures of the same man. He is Dr. Anil Ameta, a respected professor of chemistry. Before his illness he was a respected and reputed professor of Chemistry.

He is today suffering from Liver Chirossis and as per our latest Info (as on 24 -Sep-2017) he has approximately 25 to 30 days to get a liver transplant surgery.

There are multiple complications involved:

1) Donor organ: A liver is the only organ that can be taken from both a live donor or a deceased body (cadaver). BUT there are multiple parameter to be tested.

Dr. Ameta has a comparatively rare blood group of A+ blood group. A living person can donate a part of his/her liver and withinn a few months time his/her liver can grow to normal again. So if you have a person who has same blood group and is willing to donate please contact that person and convince him/her.

2) Financial Costs: The treatment is only liver transplant and as per his consulting surgeon Dr naimish Mehta of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi minimum expenditure for his treatment would be Rs. 23.5 Lakhs (approx 36,200 USD).

Many complications may arise before, during or after surgery and those are not even mentioned/covered. Add to that the pre-operative preparation and post-surgical Care and medication needed as well as cost of the attendant staying with him. The total requirement of the funds is close to INR 30 Lakhs (approx 46,200 USD).

We, Dr. Ameta's colleagues, friends, well wishers and students, have started this campaign to crow-fund his surgery and treatment costs.

We request all and one to contribute to help save a life of a teacher and a father of 2 lovely girls and a husband and a son by donating as much amount as you may please.

The donations will directly go to the bank account of Jyoti Ameta who is wife of Dr. Ameta and will be used for meeting the aforementioned expenditure of surgery and treatment.

Anyone interested can leave a message on the Facebook page (HelpAnilAmeta).

We can also share our Phone numbers with you to convince you that this is not a con but a genuine cause to help save a life. Please donate generously and share as much as possible among your friends.
