Ramesh's Daily Wages Of Rs.150 Cannot Save His Daughter From Dengue
5-year-old Amulya is in the intensive care unit fighting for her life. Two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Dengue. If her family can afford to keep her under treatment, she can be saved. But her father, Ramesh, is a daily wage labourer who is struggling without any help.

The father of three kids, he lived in the small village of near Devanhalli, Karnataka. Earning Rs 150 a day, the couple tried their very best to make ends meet. Once the children were born, the family income was slashed in half with Manjula (Ramesh’s wife) staying at home to take care of the kids. When Amulya turned 5, Ramesh ran into some unexpected struggles.
When 5-year-old Amulya Would Cry All Night With A Temperature Of 103F
2 weeks ago, Amulya was running a temperature. Ramesh and his wife assumed it was an effect of weather change. But the fever did not subside for 3 days. She developed rashes all over the body. Soon they rushed her to the local hospital in Yelahanka.
"The blood test confirmed it was dengue!”, said Ramesh looking at the plastic bag full of reports, But weeks later, my daughter is still sick and her condition has gotten worse. We recently shifted her Aster CMI. Doctors have assured us they can save her. But good treatment comes with a cost. Cost that I cannot afford."

As His Daughter Fights In The Hospital, Ramesh Is Running Pillar To Post To Pay The Bills
Ramesh has already spent 2 lakh for the multiple consults and tests to find answers for Amulya's ailment. But today when has finally found a cure, he does not have a single penny to pay for it. Doctors suggest she needs intensive PICU care for a minimum of 7 days.

"Doctors are confident they can cure my daughter. But I don't know how will I arrange for 2 lakhs. We are living in hospital hallways. I cannot even afford to pay for the travel. But I have to free my daughter from disease and pain," he says.
How can you help?
Ramesh makes only Rs 150 per day as a daily-wage worker. Even that income has run dry as he does rounds of hospitals instead of work. He has no savings or land to sell. The treatment for his daughter costs Rs 2 lakhs. With little hope left for his family, Ramesh desperately needs help to arrange funds. Your contribution will save Amulya
