Story

My name is Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya and I am raising funds for my treatment. I am not currently employed due to my condition which has made it difficult for me to arrange funds for my treatment. I have a wife, two children,

Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya was posted as the PA to the Chief General Manager, #StateBankofIndia, North East India Circle in the eighties and nineties. On his promotion, he also served SBI in the states of Nagaland and Mizoram. After retirement, he settled in Silchar, District: Cachar, Assam. About four weeks ago, he suffered a stroke resulting in brain hemorrhage and was admitted to a hospital in Silchar, India. But as his case was serious, he was referred to the Rahman Hospitals Pvt Ltd in Guwahati, India where he has been lying semi-conscious ever since.

He was put in the ICU six days ago for a severe drug rash of Eptoin affecting his whole body with mouth ulcer. The family has spent over Rs 6 lakhs so far for his treatment and is now under dire financial strain. Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya, unfortunately, does not have a medical insurance to take care of the expenses for the treatment.

Please share this post with as many individuals/groups, who may be inclined to help Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya, as possible.

I am currently undergoing treatment at Cabin 2C-2, Rahman Hospitals Pvt Ltd, Guwahati, India. I have been suffering for one month and it has been a tough time for me and my family. Medications are my only hope of getting better and living a normal life. My treatment will cost approximately Rs. 1000000. I am unable to pay for the treatment due to being retired from State Bank of India 11 years ago and do not have medical insurance or any assets.

The funds raised will be used towards my:
  • Doctor's Consultation Charges
  • Hospital Bills
  • Post-operative care
  • Medicines
  • ICU
My family is eagerly awaiting my recovery. Once I'm better I will Fundraise for medical emergencies.
