About us

With “Student Development” as its whole and sole aim, Baal Shikshan Kendra, now known as Bal Shikshan Manch, has been whole heartedly active in the field for the past six years.

Started on 26th June 2006 as a study circle for poverty stricken and unprivileged children of workers, from the Market Yard Industrial Area, Indiranagar, Dias Plot, Ambedkarnagar, Premnagar and Dholemala areas, at Shri Sant Dnyandev Primary school, Maharshinagar, it aimed at providing a learning conducive environment which would help them develop as well educated individuals. 

Seeing so many children coming from families unable to provide a pro-
education environment due to poverty and personal problems, the organization decided to take up the cause, and thus was conceived the concept of Baal Shikshan Kendra.

The organisation provides a platform to such children from
1st to 12th standards, wherein they meet every day evening
between 6pm-9pm for a group study. This starts with a prayer and
ends with a discussion on various problems faced by the students and
current issues thus encouraging their opinions and solutions. This
circle is conducted by senior students themselves and voluntary
(social) workers.

Vision

To support and guide the underprivileged students staying at
local communities in their educational goals and moulding
them into responsible & capable citizens of our nation.
Motive

The main motive of the initiative is personal, professional and
holistic development of underprivileged students. The aim is to
see them as well educated successful individuals by providing
them with amenities and opportunities they lack owing to their
background. The circle is run free of charge and also provides
study material and requirements like books, stationery, tiffin
boxes, school bags, etc.
