Guru Ka Langer

Myself Tajeender Singh Dhanda, belong to a small city named as Korba in Chhattisgarh. I am active in social and welfare causes with few supporters following me. I’m active in social works and I’m directly involved in Religious and social welfare. I’m hereby to raise fund for Gurudwara for more social activities. The area in which the Gurudwara is situated is surrounded by lots of Slum areas, it’s adjacent to a repair area where lots of long distance makes a halt for overnight. The place is flooded with local Dhaba’s and small restaurants and the location is having a pity fair distance from city limits. Seeing this situation we, means me and few of the peoples started to arrange langer (free food) for peoples on every Tuesday night. We get overwhelming response with around 1000 peoples visiting for free food. But as my personal budget is limited, so the event is limited to once a week.

Someone suggested me to raise fund for this cause, so that I could provide healthy food to the slums and peoples of nearby locations. My motive is to raise fund so that I will be well efficient to run the langer (free food) at least 2 times a day and 24x7.

The above denomination is for Meal for one time for one thousand peoples approximately. Below is the budget on different scales

The above denomination may seem on the higher side but it’s considerably a healthy diet and we do not want to compromise with the quality of food. The slums who visit us are not capable of normal diet daily, this way at least they get nutritious food, one time a week. I know it’s not enough but currently we are unable to cope with the needs due to low budget. Our fund raising purpose is the same.
