Gurukul March

Hi everyone...This is Kusuma Thammini from Hyderabad. My husband Sreenivas Gundala is a software professional working in Hyderabad. As Visakhapatnam is my hometown me and my husband recently visited MPP school, Kothuru in  which is a primary school with around 50 students. From seeing the school we found that they are lagging many basic amenities. Though they have 2 class rooms and a large play area..There is proper utilization for them. We immediately thought of providing some funds but later felt that the small amount will not be sufficient. Hence we with our friends tried to raise funds for the school. My main aim is to see this primary school as any other private school with all basic amenities and all the privilege a private school going kid has. By end of this month this school just looks like any other private school and I wish many to take this school as an inspiration and try to renovate as many government schools as possible. I agree this is the responsibility of government...But let us do our part for these kids. Let them have some happiness in going to special schools.

Our attempt to start this "GURUKUL MARCH"  is to see that every child is provided a conducive learning atmosphere. As our children are our nation's pride, we propose to lend a helping hand. As little drops make mighty oceans - little contributions from generous minds and hearts can pave a long way in shaping tomorrows future. We wish to provide basic amenities, modern classrooms with high-level infrastructure and best teaching aids for the students. We are starting this project with MPP School Kothuru, Sabbavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District.
