Hello Fellows!
I’m an Information and Visual Designer, currently living in Mumbai. I work with a start-up, and have been working on my venture as well. I was born and raised in Allahabad, and spent my childhood traveling all over northern India. After school, I moved to National Institute of Design for undergraduate studies. I specialized in Graphic Design there, and studied various other branches of visual communications. For the past few years I’ve been working on websites, publications, and interdisciplinary projects. Somewhere along the way I realized my passion for information design and data visualization.
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to join the seven-day UnSchool Christchurch Fellowship. Unschool has accepted 16 fellows for their January Workshop, where they’ll be working on disruptive design and social change. UnSchools describe themselves as an ‘an experimental knowledge lab for social change’. And they help individuals like us to step ahead a learn more, with each other, and become change agents. Unschool will help me learn more about our social responsibility and how we can change the world, bit by bit. It’s all about systems, sustainability, design, and everything that is powerful enough to make the world a better place.
Unschool will help me learn more, and contribute after I get back. I want to become a change agent, to encourage everyone around me and join the movement of disruptive design. Though I've received 50% scholarship from Unschool, it's still a little tough for me to fund my visit by myself. It's an amazing opportunity, and I don't want to miss it because of monetary issues.
My expenses are as follows:
Ticket: 1,11,000
Mumbai-Christchurch
Accommodation: 20,000 for 8 Days.
Local Hostel in Christchurch
Fellowship: 75,000
Being the tourist season in New Zealand, the expenses are skyrocketing and I'm looking for as many alternatives as possible. Unfortunately, these costs are the necessary ones.

To return the favor, I'll help donors with their ventures and have design thinking and development sessions.
Upto Rs 1000: Every donor will receive an artwork poster, of their first name initial. Here are few images of the artwork.
Up to Rs 5000: A poster, and a two hour long session on design feedback, and service design. This session will help them look at their venture from design thinking and service design point of view.
Above Rs 5000: Consultancy services and 5-8 hr long sessions on design feedback. I'll make sure that the learning from Unschool comes to your use as well.
