The climate crisis is threatening our earth and we humans are responsible. If we continue to act as we have up to this point, it will result in catastrophic consequences.Yet, there is far too little being done to stop this. We want to change that along with the children through actions.
Objective of Social Forestry & Environment Wing
Afforestation outside the conventional forest area for the benefit of rural and urban communities. The main objective is to :-
(i) Improve the environment for protecting agriculture from adverse climatic factors,
(ii) Increase the supply of fuel wood for domestic use, small timber for rural housing, fodder for livestock, and minor forest produce for local industries,
(iii) Increase the natural beauty of the landscape; create recreational forests for the benefit of rural and urban population,
(iv) Provide jobs for unskilled workers and
(v) Reclaim wastelands. Finally, its object is to raise the standard of living and quality of life of the rural and urban people.
Mission
- To carry out a need based and time bound programme of afforestation with special emphasis on fuel wood and fodder development on all degraded and denuded lands/forests.
- Afforestation of abandoned jhum lands and mined areas.
- Linear strip plantation of fast growing species on sides of public roads, rivers, streams and irrigation canals.
- Afforestation on unutilized lands under State/Corporate, institutional or private ownership.
- Green belts in urban/industrial areas.
- Shelter belt (generally more extensive than the wind breaks) for the purpose of shelter from wind and sun covering areas larger than a single farm on a planned pattern.
- Farm forestry in the form of raising rows of trees on bund or boundaries of fields and individual trees in private agricultural land as well as creation of wind breaks round a farm or orchard by raising one or two lines of trees.
- Raise flowering trees and shrubs mainly to serve as recreation forests for the urban and rural population.
- Elicit people’s participation involving women and young people in conservation of forests, wildlife and environment.
- Environmental awareness generation and celebration of World environment day, wildlife week etc.

We have raise this fund primarily for people like us, kids and teenagers,because we are the ones who will pay for it if adults do not solve these global problems. However, we are also consciously directing this campaign to adults parents, teachers, politicians, entrepreneurs and others in our society, because we want them to help us in what we are doing.
Our Plant for the Planet earth initiative was very small when it began in 2015, but since then it has become a global movement. Compared to most adults, who only talk about climate change, we are actually doing something about it. You too can experience how great planting can be if you decide to join in and help. You will learn what “climate change” means, how much we humans contribute to it and what we can do in order to protect our environment.
You will see why it is so important that we commit ourselves to more climate protection and climate justice in this world. And we will explain to you why we are planting trees to achieve these goals.
We therefore appeal your help to contribute in to our campaign so that we can proceed forward in to our mission for the important of environment protection.
This fund we need it before this summer end. We want to used it for purchasing Trees and plant them as expected. Fund will be utilized in a different parts like forming the Green Clubs for the Schools Students, Eco-Clubs and more.
We appeal to all the supporters to contribute into this campaign, so that we can proceed forward as we have already started last year.
