Lakshmi has been diagnosed with  Wilson's disease for the past three years, It is a defect of copper transport leading excess copper deposition in the liver, the brain, the kidneys and the skeletal system. It is a life-threatening disease. Medication for this treatment is very expensive and the medicines for this has limited outlets in India. Recently, Distributors from Pune are agreed to supply this medicine at the cost of Rs. 25000/= per bottle of 100 capsules. She needs proper treatment to fully recover. Which will cost around 4.5 lakhs.
