RCPP strives to provide community services in areas such as Education, Health, Mother and Child Care, Water and sanitation etc.
In Indian villages, many girls drop out of school education after attaining menstrual age, due to lack of clean and secure toilets. By building toilets in rural area, we wish to ensure that no girl will drop out of school for this reason. We intend to construct toilets in six schools in rural areas. The cost of a small toilet block with an overhead water storage tank and wash basin facility, is about Rs. 73500. We are planning to build 6 toilets in 6 rural schools. Cost: Rs. 4.40 lakhs
Death rate of pre-term babies is very high in India. This can be reduced to a great extent by giving mother's milk to the babies in NICU. But, there is a scarcity of mothers' milk. For this, it is essential to generate awareness in people at large, motivate mothers to donate milk and establish Mothers' Milk Collection Centers in and around Pune city.
Total Cost for 6 Toilet blocks and 6 Milk Collection Centers: Rs. 10.65 lakhs.
Rotary is a Non Profit Organisation, known worldwide for its services for uplifting the downtrodden. The funds donated will be utilized in building modern toilets in ten schools in remote villages in Purandar taluka (Pune district) and will also be utilized for generating awareness and establishing mothers' milk collection centers.
We request generous donors to appreciate the seriousness of these problems in our society and join hands with us for this cause by donating at least some amount.
All transactions made through the trust are transparent. We will issue 80G certificates through Milaap.
As soon as we receive Rs 70,000 we will start building the toilet in the first school. Simultaneously, on getting additional funds, we will establish Mothers' Milk Collection Center at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.04 lakh each. We will publish the progress periodically along with photos.
We wish to complete both the projects by 30th June 2019.
