Hi all,

Haritha Choriyan is one among them. I first met her, when I was distributing used clothes for the underprivileged families in Thottamoola village, in 2011. Her appearance indicated that her last bath was several days before.  She and several of her friends were not going to school in those days. She was in charge of the little children at home and also was expected to assist her parents in their works for daily wages. Both of her parents still are drunkards. It was very painful to see how inferior she was feeling over herself and how starving and malnourished she was ... 

Thottamoola situates at the boundary of the Tiger Reserve forest of  Wayanad district of Kerala, India. People in this community, are always under the threat of wild attacks from Tiger, elephants, monkeys and wild pigs. 

Haritha lives in one among the hamlets where men and women are illiterate, unskilled laborers and almost all the men and women are drunkards. Most of the seasons, especially in the rainy time they go through starvation. Child labor and child abuse are common among them.

With the help of some of my friends, we started to help Haritha and her five friends in that year. Year by year we added children to our program. We give them a one-time meal every day, tuition, special classes, hygiene materials, school supplies and extracurricular training.  Since 2011, we have been giving new dresses in every Christmas, good food and a few hours of celebration to children and families.

Thanks to the many who supported over the last years. Now all our children attend school, actively participate in project activities, keep themselves hygienic and developing beautiful dreams in their hearts. 

Now we have 49 children and their families. In this Christmas also we would like to give a new dress to all our kids, a special food to them and their families and a good celebration for all the village people. THIS IS THE ONLY OCCASION  THESE PRECIOUS KIDS RECEIVE A NEW DRESS !

Using the fund:  
I would like to buy new dresses and give a special food to all children through the organization by using all the raised fund. The fund will be transferred to the organization and it will be strictly used for the above purpose. The details will be furnished with updates here.  

This is Christmas time and we need to remember that Jesus was born in a manger, definitely for these beloved children. 

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'' (Matthew 25:40)

These blessed children have been waiting for their new dresses from the last Christmas. I request you to help me bring joy to my beloved children... Thanks for considering...
