There are over half a million amputees in India. In Maharashtra alone, there are more than 160,000. Many of them cannot afford to obtain their own artificial leg.  

We at Rotary Club of Pune, Magarpatta City have an ongoing initiative to donate Modular Prosthesis(artificial legs). We have already donated Modular Prosthesis to over 250 amputees from economically backward sections of society. Our global grant from Rotary International will allow us to donate prosthesis to 372 below knee amputees over next two years.

But this is a small fraction of the needy candidates. Together we can make this festive season special for many more by contributing towards this worthy cause and bringing joy to their lives!
