WHO WE ARE
We, G.E.W.S, are a non-profit organization(Regd: S/69306/2010) focused on various Social causes including Environment Protection.
As an environmental charity, we're on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees!
Rs. 100 per tree.
WHERE WE PLANT
We have active volunteers in Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan. We will plant trees in these areas. Most of our projects help with restoration of trees around highways (which is needed desperately in these areas).
HOW IT WORKS
We pool the donations for each project and use the funds in planting saplings with the help of volunteers, students, local bodies and other organisations working in same field. We ensure to maintain a tree survival rate of 80-90% with the help of local communities, government bodies (like Municipal Corporations) and other volunteers.
Depending on the project, we choose the best tree species to plant and work with local communities to get them in the ground.
We will run a plantation drive through out the year to plant 1 Lac trees with various efforts which includes inviting local Politicians, Celebrities, various organisations, local bodies, local communities, schools, collages etc..

Planting trees is such a simple and effective way to make an impact. Trees clean the air we breathe and the water we drink. They help stabilize our climate, provide habitat for biodiversity, and create sustainable jobs.
