A street child in India is someone "for whom the street (in the widest sense of the word, including unoccupied dwellings, wasteland, etc.) has become his or her habitual abode and/or source of livelihood; and who is inadequately protected, supervised, or directed by responsible adults”It is estimated that more than 400,000 street children in India exist. Mainly because of family conflict, they come to live on the streets and take on the full responsibilities of caring for themselves, including working to provide for and protecting themselves. Though street children do sometimes band together for greater security, they are often exploited by employers and the police.Their many vulnerabilities require specific legislation and attention from the government and other organisations to improve their conditionThis Film has no Intention of Disrespecting any culture or Tradition.."Geethapuri colony" the movie involves with five children and their families and finally the film will teaches every one about the importance of study in every child LifeThe Entire Team of The movie is working very hardThe Film is completely based upon on Five Children and its not a Documentary The Primal Focus of making this Film is to let the audience know how the five children from a Slum Area struggled to go to school

"Geethapuri colony" movie consist of a team passionate and creative who wanted to make a mark in the Telugu film industry.i have pooled off all the expensive for the shooting & production work and the film is just to complete with the music and post production. we need funding to complete the post production and music.this is the subject that needs that needs plenty of awareness around it.we re very glad to be playing a role in it.I Request each and every one to come forward and support us to reach this film to everyone
