We at Team Garuthmaan are a group of 10 students of Jyothy Institute of Technology, Bengaluru who formulate, design & fabricate our very own Micro Aerial Vehicle.We put the theoritical knowledge to practical use and develop sate of the art MAV's.
We assemble each and every component from the wing to the propulsion system and run them through various environmental tests.This helps us to predict the performance of our aircraft and make the required changes.It all comes down to the day of the competition where our hard work is put to test.We will be competing against the best aero modellers and aero designers both national and international.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Every year we aim to build a Radio Controlled Aircraft which can perform under any given condition without any complications.The results...
• In 2017, we came 12th overall internationally & 5th overall in India.
• We were the youngest college to ever attempt this competition from India and were give a huge appreciation for our design by the pilots.
This year we are participating in the SAE Aero Design West 2018.
This event will be held at Van Nuys, California.
We are determined to win this year and make our nation proud.
