Support Fishermen - Gaja Cyclone Victims

IFPHIL SOCIETY OFINDIA got in aware and did receive the request to address the food needs for thousands of babies, toddlers, pregnant ladies and old age and others especially the cyclone affected places/villages which are in the Vedaranyam block of Nagapattinam Dt.

IFPHIL SOCIETY OF INDIA have been in the ground to address the different kind of issues where we observed and found the hunger has been restored in general where we have requested for basic food preparation and distribution.

However complete livelihood damages to the fishermen community. Because the farmers and others except fishermen will get some sort of livelihood slowly however fishermen didn't know other than fishing. If their boats and nets were damaged they will not recovered until they get new.
There are huge damages, no it is a complete livelihood damage of  fishermen community villages where their boats,10HP motors, fishing nets were damaged completely.

We have started to join hands with other interested organizations and philanthropists like you and able to work on the new rehabilitation model to for their basic livelihood support model based on the detailed impact analysis and detailed Environmental Impact Analysis and work around.

Please consider this situation by very very urgent basis.

We shall maintain the separate  accounting for this venture drive and will submit during the closer.

Dear Supporters,

Though we have connected the fishermen directly to the bank, it takes it own time to avail/realize their loan since the branch has been too busy with the bulk relief funds handling business. Hence the other business getting delayed naturally.

The TN Government has announced Rs1,50,000 per boat as a damage cost. For the interest of the time, the fishermen wanted to rebuild/repair their damaged engine to start up their livelihood temporarily until the permanent initiatives get realized.

They required nearly 10,000 Per outboard engine and total the community have 55 boats with a permit.  Hence the break up will as below.

Total Number of outboard engine =55
App. Cost to repair&replace the parts = Rs 10,000 (Ten thousand only)

Hence  55 * Rs10,000 = Rs 5,50,000

This request we did receive toady from the Pushpavanam Fishermen community.  Hence please support Pushpavanam Fishermen community

Thank you!
