GAJA Cyclone is a worst disaster that we had ever seen in our history. It was more terrible than expected(150 kmph). As the eye of this cyclone moved through our place #VEDARANIAM, this place has met such a historical disaster. The people of this place suffered a lot because of this GAJA cyclone.
# 90% of the trees (our livelihood) were uprooted and broken into pieces. No HOUSES except concrete houses.
# 70% of our CATTLE are no more after this cyclone. There will be no ELECTRICITY for upcoming several weeks as all of the electrical posts and transformers fell down.
#  Mode of communication also lacks and this place become an island by communication and transportation Even though the Govt and some volunteer groups are working most of the highly affected areas are not visited yet. People are suffering from BASIC NEEDS like foods, water etc.Without waiting for them to come, we help ourselves to save the lives and recover from this worst disaster...
