Why am I fundraising?

My 8 year old daughter, Elsa is suffering from kidney failure. Both her kidneys have failed. Since two years, she has been admitted in hospital many times. She lost her voice on long incubation in the ventilator. Unfortunately, the results have not been satisfactory even after consulting senior doctors in 5-6 reputed hospitals.

Hospitals: Batra Hospital, All India Institute for Medical sciences (AIIMS),  NHI, Saket City, Apollo & now in Medanta hospital & BLK for her voice recovery.

Now she is on hemo dialysis (thrice a week), for which we are visiting Medanta – Gurgaon (80 km updown) for her treatment. She was suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome (FSGS) confirmed by AIIMS after biopsy, it lead to Chronic Kidney Disease – CKD V  past 2+ years. Only 3 per cent of the children suffering from FSGS do not respond to the medication and unfortunately my child is one of them.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

We want to do her Kidney transplant since last three years, but due to her medical issues and financial issues, we are unable to do the Kindey transplant.   Her mother is a suitable donor. Once we have the funds we can proceed with the transplant. Please find below the document from the hospital
