    This fundraiser will benefit

    Shweta Mahajan

    from Slough, UK

I am writing this on behalf of the Mahajan family. On November 24th, 2020, Vineet Mahajan was admitted to hospital in UK for treatment of jaundice and his hemoglobin level was precariously down to 6 grams per deciliter (Normal range for Hgb is 13.5 to 17.5 gms per deciliter). He went through several tests and the doctors found that Vineet's liver and kidney were not functioning well. They had to put him in ICU on ventilator and life support. For the next 17 days Vineet continued to remain on life support without any improvement. He was basically sedated and in coma. He got a brain stroke on December 12th, 2020 that further deteriorated his condition. The doctors proposed one last extreme treatment where by they took Vineet out of life support to see if his body could start healing on its own as life support wasn't bringing in any improvement in his condition. His condition improved on 13th Dec and he was able to respond to sign language but in the early hours on December 14th, 2020 Vineet passed away leaving his loved ones behind. Vineet was 44 years old and a healthy individual. His death has been absolutely devastating to his family. He is survived by his wife, Shweta and Kriday- 13-year old son.

Shweta, Vineet's wife doesn't work and Vineet was the only earning member in the family. Apparently Vineet didn't have a term life insurance and left very limited savings for take care of the family. During this difficult time, Shweta is supported by her family, friends, and relatives. However, any little support goes a long way. Vineet was, a loving father, caring husband, a trustworthy friend and a dedicated professional. He was someone who was always there to help others and offer his support in anyway he could. No one can fill the lacuna that he leaves behind in the lives of his family and friends. This funding campaign will be used towards alleviating the financial burdens such as Shweta's living expenses, and her son's college tuition fund.

Vineet migrated from India to UK in pursuit of the providing better life to his family. Although he is no longer here to see his son fulfill it, this campaign can provide the support to ensure that the dream lives on and becomes a reality.

Please feel free to donate and keep the family in your prayers. Thank you in advance for your support, monetarily or through good wishes.

Please share the link to your Facebook Timeline if you can. I will keep all the well wishers updated.
