I Yasmin, write on behalf of Johanna, who needs the money to transport eight dogs she's adopted in her ten years in-country. At the moment, two are each missing a limb. To make it absolutely clear, we understand that street dogs have it easier in india than in most places and the prospective beneficiary knows this as well, given her experience in dealing with and taking care of many dogs within the immediate vicinity of her house - those being the many strays in our (sort-of) neighborhood. I specify this to illustrate that these dogs were adopted as they simply would not have survived more than a week on the street.

Cost of transport: Rs. 31,000 per dog (8 dogs total)
Cost of blood test required by german authorities: Rs. 3,600 per dog
Cost of Microchip required by german authorities: Rs. 1,500 per dog
Cost Health Certificate required by german authorities: Rs. 1,000 per dog
Cost of transport cage/crate: 9-12,000 depending on size
This is in addition to various vaccinations that are required
In total, were looking at Rs. 45-50,000 per dog
Given that there are 8 dogs, this would equate to 3.6 - 4 lakhs
4 lakhs would be ideal to tackle and expenses I may have neglected to specify
At the moment, 7 dogs have had their titer test costing Rs. 25,200
5 cages have been bought for Rs. 9,000 each = 45,000
Another XL crate was purchased second-hand for 8,000
In total, approximately 80,000 has been spent when accounting for miscellaneous expenses
