Sai(35) is a working single mom who lives in Chennai, India with her aged mother and daughter. She is an alumna from SBOA school and Junior college, SBOA Matriculation and Madras University.

She was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease - stage 5 (End stage renal disease) in Aug 2013 and has been on hemodialysis since then which means she had only 10-15% of her kidney function and needs to be hooked to a machine for 4 hours a day and 3 days a week to remove waste from her body and keep her living. Dialysis is an extremely painful with symptoms of swelling, vomiting, fatigue and very draining both financially and physically.

Despite the huge financial struggle and the sudden demise of her father in 2015, which left her to face the worst of life, Sai maintains her cheerful and positive vibes, always tries to keep everyone around her happy. Her 13 year old daughter, who is very fond and supportive, wants her mom to get healthy soon and stay alive to watch her grow up.

The good news is after grueling three year long wait, Sai's name in the waiting list has moved up close to receive transplanted kidney. But she needs your financial support for the cost of surgery, loss of work, post surgery expenses like immunosuppressive drugs, follow ups, transportation and medication, which is estimated to be twelve lakh Indian rupees.
