Who am I?
I am Smrithi Sharma pursuing the Teach For India fellowship in Kubernagar,Ahmedabad teaching 32 children currently in 4th grade in a low income community school.
Who are these funds for?
"Didi it is my dream to come on tv" says Nandini. "Didi I want to talk good English" says Janvi and some of them just want to play Frisbee in open grounds. There are numerous things that these kids tell me everyday about what they wish to do.

3 months ago, I joined the Teach For India fellowship through which I got the opportunity to teach these 32 very hopeful children in the city of Ahmedabad and in the process I decided to help them discover and explore their passions inside and outside the classroom. There is so much potential and spark in each and every child that needs to explored and surfaced.

Where will the funds be used?
Television worth Rs 25000
Library resources Rs 5000
Sports equipment Rs 10000
Classroom resources and supplies Rs 10000
How will it impact them?
The television will be used to integrate technology into the classroom with the help of iPads for enhanced teaching and learning.
Library will have leveled books and texts that will cater to the different learning levels of the children.
Sports equipment and playground facilities will cater to their holistic development and will help them channelize their energies in a constructive way.
